THE SUPERMAN ARCHIVES COLLECTORS EDITION Vol. 3 (approx. 75 minutes)
The legendary SUPERMAN TV producer Whitney Ellsworth is doing the off camera interviews on this rarely seen, uncut SUPERBOY SCREEN TEST with Johnny Rockwell as Superboy doing scenes with hopefuls for the part of Lana Lang. Plus a great print of STAMP DAY FOR SUPERMAN, a classic Treasury Department short with the Daily Planet gang and kidnapped Lois needing Superman's help from Blinky.

THE CANDID REPORTER is an unedited commercial produced by Arthur Weisman, long-time manager of George Reeves at Reeves' home for an idea they had for Kellogg's Corn Flakes. Reeves is even holding one of the Rolex 16mm cameras used as they hoped to form their own film production company. Sadly, the scene takes place in George's bedroom where he later reportedly committed suicide. The commercial was never completed. We have included great Kellogg's spots of Perry White, Jimmy Olsen, and Clark Kent needing Superman's help to get them more Kellogg's Corn Flakes.
It's a memorable George Reeves in this war short THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF JOHN SMITH. Reeves fans will find this great fun. It co-stars Lionel Barrymore and Walter Brennan.

AESOP'S FABLES & ASSOCIATES (approx. 75 minutes)
The AESOP'S FABLES series is both primitive and wildly inconsistent. At its best it shows flair and imagination. Make note of the mice that bear a likeness to Mickey and Minnie Mouse. In fact, Walt Disney got a temporary injunction against the Van Beuren Company in 1931.

They all didn't become household names like Walt Disney, but cult status surrounds the artists and animators who worked at these companies creating their art form. This edition has some of the most impressive images created during the Golden Age of Animation: DISNEY: "The Mad Doctor" and "Alice's Pony", drawn by Ub Iwerks; MGM: "Doggone", directed by Tex Avery; TERRYTOONS: "Talking Maples" with Heckle and Jeckle; WARNERS: Merrie Melodies' hilarious satire on movie stars "Hollywood Steps Out"; VAN BUREN: "Candy Town" a Jungle Jinks cartoon; MODERN SALES CORP.: Mutt and Jeff in "Westward Wow!"; COMMONWEALTH PICTURE CORP.: "Neptune's Nonsense" with Felix the Cat.

The story continues as we explore the best and least known companies which produced some of the finest and most innovative cartoon animation in history, including Walter Lantz, George Pal, Tex Avery and Max and Dave Fleischer. Walt Disney's "Cookie Carnival"; Gandy Goose in "Dingbat Land"; plus "Flip Flap"; "We're in the Honey"; "Scotty Finds a Home"; "Gabby Goes Fishing"; "Scrappily Married"; and Hunky and Spunky in "Always Kickin'".
​THE BETTY BOOP COLLECTION Vol. 1 (approx. 60 minutes)
Betty Boop was a holdover from the 20s, the perfect flapper who could flirt and tease and still remain pure and innocent. Mae Questal became the voice of Betty. In this collection: BLUNDERLAND; STOP THAT NOISE; SWAT THAT FLY; SO DOES AN AUTOMOBILE; RHYTHM ON THE RESERVATION; POOR CINDERELLA; HOUSE CLEANING BLUES; and LITTLE JIMMY.
POPEYE CLASSICS (approx. 60 minutes)
The success of the Fleischer's black and white Popeye cartoons made the studio urge the animators to produce a color series. The result was these three two-reelers: POPEYE MEETS SINBAD THE SAILOR, POPEYE MEETS ALI BABA AND HIS FORTY THIEVES, and POPEYE MEETS ALADDIN AND HIS WONDERFUL LAMP.

POPEYE CARTOONS & THE HISTORY OF ANIMATION (approx. 60 minutes)
Classic Popeye cartoons include "Insect Inquiry"; "I Don't Scare"; "Me Musical Nephews"; and "I Don't Scare". Plus a rare untitled film circa 1960 teaching the history of animation from drawings, with Muybridge, Edison, Terry, Disney, McKay, and scenes of creating movie animation with Magilla Gorilla and more.

PARAMOUNT/FLEISCHER Vol. 1 (approx. 60 minutes)
Here's an odd assortment of relatively unknown characters and cartoons created by the Fleischer Studio. They're quite innovative, real fun and some hold cult status among collectors: SMALL FRY, PLAY SAFE, THE FRESH VEGETABLE MURDER CASE, SOMEWHERE IN DREAMLAND, and HUNKY ANS SPUNKY.

The Mills Brothers sing and can be seen in the Fleischer cartoon DINAH; THE OLD SHELL GAME; SONG OF THE BIRDS; HEPCAT SYMPHONY; MUSICAL MEMORIES; THE KIDS IN THE SHOE; and George Pal's Oscar-winning TUBBY THE TUBA.

PARAMOUNT FAMOUS STUDIOS Vol. 1 (approx. 60 minutes)
When Paramount Pictures removed Max and Dave Fleischer from the control of his studio in January 1942, they gave the operation to Sam Buchwald, head animator Seymour Kneitel, and Izzy Sparber, who worked his way up from office boy to story man. They changed the company name to Famous Studios, derived from Paramount's original corporate name (Famous Players/Lasky). This edition includes CASPER THE FRIENDLY GHOST, Raggedy Ann in THE ENCHANTED SQUARE, LAND OF THE LOST, BUTTERSCOTCH & SODA with Little Audrey, MUSICAL LULU, BORED OF EDUCATION and THE GOAL RUSH.

PARAMOUNT FAMOUS STUDIOS Vol. 2 (approx. 60 minutes)
The studio still produced a memorable series of cartoon classics after the Fleischer Brothers contract was terminated: BOO MOON with Casper; CRAZY TOWN; RAGGEDY ANN; SUDDENLY IT'S SPRING; THE NITE MAKES RIGHT; Little Audrey in SEAPREME COURT; A HAUNTING WE WILL GO; THE WEE MEN.
FLEISCHER & FAMOUS STUDIO (approx. 60 minutes)
LAMB IN A JAM; OLD MacDONALD HAD A FARM; LEPRECHAUN GOLD; THE BORED CUCKOO; DANCING ON THE MOON; YOU CAN'T SHOE A HORSE FLY; YANKEE DOODLE DONKEY.
THE VAN BEUREN & COMMONWEALTH STUDIO (approx. 60 minutes)

PIONEERS IN ANIMATION Vol. 1 (approx. 55 minutes)
We begin our look into the pioneering days of cartoon animation with Windsor McCay's first animated classics LITTLE NEMO and THE SINKING OF THE LUSITANIA. At the Edison Studio Raoul Barre brought us CARTOONS ON TOUR which was part of the GROUCH CHASER series; Max Fleischer performs with Koko the Clown in two classic episodes, THE CURE and THE REUNION; the lesser known production studio Short Films Syndicate produced the Mutt and Jeff detective cartoon SLICK SLEUTH.
PIONEERS IN ANIMATION Vol. 2 (approx. 60 minutes)
Starting with a great series of Crusader Rabbit cartoons where Dr. Frank En Stein is terrorizing a Western village when Crusader and Rags the Tiger come to the rescue; plus Woody Woodpecker in PANTRY PANIC; BEACHCOMBER OSWALD RABBIT; PORKY'S PREVIEW and PIGS IN A POLKA.
PIONEERS IN ANIMATION Vol. 3 (approx. 60 minutes)
Mighty Mouse in WOLF WOLF; Elmer Fudd in AN ITCH IN TIME; CHICKEN A LA KING; THE BIG BAD WOLF by Ub Iwerks; Porky Pig in TIMID TOREADOR; ALI BARBA BOUND; NOTES TO YOU; THE STUPIDSTITIONS; and CAT WITH BUZZY.

One of the most memorable characters created by Ub Iwerks during his independent period was a remarkable frog called Flip. We've put together a great collection for you.

THE WARNER BROTHERS COLLECTION Vol. 1 (approx. 60 minutes)
Their films were bold and innovative in the 30s and somewhat imitative of Disney, but by the 40s Warners dominated the short subject market with an incredible list of animated stars, while Disney went off into feature length history. Judge for yourself while you get some of the best of the Merrie Melodies and Looney Tune creations. THE WARNER BROTHERS COLLECTION Vol. 3 (approx. 60 minutes)
The PRIVATE SNAFU series were cartoons included in the wartime issues of THE ARMY/NAVY SCREEN MAGAZINE, shown exclusively to American soldiers and sailors. Snafu was an everyman type of soldier as he fouls up trying to learn how to keep a secret, use his gas mask, and worry about spies. Most notable is the broad sexual imagery. All scripts were approved by the Pentagon: HOME FRONT; SPIES; THE GOLD BRICK; IT'S MURDER SHE SAYS; A LECTURE ON CAMOUFLAGE; THREE BROTHERS; SNAFUFU MAN; BOOBY TRAP.

The great collection of Warners cartoons continues with FALLING HARE; A GREAT BUNCH OF YOU; A TALE OF TWO KITTIES; THE DOVER BOYS; THE WABBIT WHO CAME TO SUPPER; THE HAUNTED MOUSE; INKI AND THE MINAH BIRD.

THE NEW THREE STOOGES CARTOONS (approx. 60 minutes)
A lesser known company, Cambria Studios, in association with Normandy III Productions, created a series making use of the Three Stooges introducing their own cartoons: THE PLUMBER'S FRIEND; MUMMIES' BOYS; LITTLE OLD BOMBMAKER; TOYS WILL BE TOYS; HOW THE WEST WAS WON; WOODSMAN BEAR THAT TRIES; LET'S SHOOT THE PIANO PLAYER.
